The NHL has announced that the annual supplemental draft will be held June 22-23 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

The first round will be Friday night and broadcast live, with rounds two through seven held Saturday morning, the NHL said Wednesday.

Angelo Esposito, a center for the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, is the top-ranked North American skater by the NHL Central Scouting Service.

As it stands, the top 5 picks would go to: Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Columbus, Chicago and St. Louis. These teams are pretty bad.

This is not the NHL "supplemental draft", it's the Entry Draft. Y'know, the big one -- comparable to the NFL Entry Draft. Also this doesn't note that there's a lottery for the first-round picks that could alter the selection order, similar to what they do in the NBA.
