In the society we live in today we strive on greed. Everyone wants to be rich and everyone wants something better then their neighbors. I have no Idea how we got so lost and desperate to try and be better then everyone else that we forget to respect each other. It is a disease I believe that exist especially in American culture. Probably stemmed from the credibility that we give our celebrities. It makes people think "If I was rich and famous I could do anything I want". This is horrible for our children and even worse for the idiots that buy into it.
Although, This is not the only reason we use people and abuse people. Many times it stems from laziness. Their are some people who have absolutely no direction in life and insist on mooching as much as they can off from anyone they can. It is a pathetic way to coast through life. I firmly believe everyone is good at at least one thing. If people could focus and use some of their energy towards perfected whatever they are good at, and then offer to help others that are also good at the same thing, we would all appreciate each other much more and respect each others abilities more. These are the types of people that like to use reverse psychology to make the person being used feel like they are the abuser, and the abuser ends up looking like a victim. It is very sad.
I tend to think all of these actions are mental problems. People are scared to be themselves and take a chance. They are afraid to fail. So, they would rather use people and coast by. They do not think about anyone else other then themselves, I do not think they do this on purpose, I think they are just so wrapped up in their own wants and needs they completely disregard the other persons feelings. Greed has taken over the human condition in this country. It does not even pay off to be a nice person with a big heart, Because 8 times out of 10, you will get used and walked all over. Although I do want to commend the people who still are being good neighbors and friends. Just remember, when you are nice to someone, make sure they don't try to lure you in to supporting them. Take care and thanks for reading.
