Nickelodeon Hotel: Discount Accommodations for Your Orlando Kissimmee Vacation
A Non-Disney Kids Hotel the Whole Family Will Enjoy
It used to be that the Disney World Resort Hotels ranked far above any blasé discount chains in the immediate Lake Buena Vista, Kissimmee and Orlando areas. The Disney Hotels with their elaborate pool and play areas, character showcase scheduled meals and free easy bus shuttles to and from anywhere in the Disney World Universe you could possibly want to visit.
In the past several years, though, Disney World has seen much competition, mostly from the same folks behind the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks. And while Disney continues to trudge ahead opening awesome new attractions on a seemingly yearly basis, Universal Studios and Crew are trekking right at their feet opening more and more of their own.
One aggressive challenge to the Disney World universe and phenomenon is known as the Nick Hotel, a quaint little hotel belonging to the discount chain known as the Holiday Inn under the Intercontinental Hotels Group.
Forget waiting for shuttles.
Everything you might need, it's all right there at the Nick Hotel.
Whoever built and designed this fantastic concept known as an interactive hotel for all ages really seemed to cover all bases; they combined all of the various attractions offered in Orlando by Disney, more or less, and created a fun park of interactive entertainment in one entity, a single location.
The Nickelodeon Family Suites Hotel by Holiday Inn could literally exist as your sole form of vacationing fun, with no need to even step foot off the hotel grounds. Naturally, of course, people often have a tight agenda for the Orlando, Florida vacation consisting of the more popular and established attractions like Epcot Center, Magic Kingdom or Universal Studios. But imagine returning to your hotel for the evening with no real need to entertain the kids, for they'd have everything they'd ever want and need right there.
By everything I mean virtually everything.
The grounds of the Nick Hotel property equate to a 24 acre large self-contained world of wonderment. Do some exploring and you'll find this is a place that could pretty much serve as its own multi-faceted theme park only it comes free with the sleeping accommodations.
The Nick Hotel Family Suites by Holiday Inn just for starters features: "two interactive pool complexes" (see: their fancy name for "swimming pools") which includes climbing nets, thrill slides and what they refer to as a 400 gallon dump tank; accommodations for such sporting games as miniature golf and basketball; a movie theatre known as Studio Nick; the Mall with a food court and places to shop; the Arcade, a 3,000 square foot large game room; and a Nick@Nite Lounge designed for adults to relax with a few cold coladas and some good company. And these together don't even come close to covering the full list of amenities at Nick Hotel.
Another cool factor is that the pools and all of the entertainment surrounding the hotel structure are strictly reserved for hotel guests, which means a) no long lines for the slides along with my personal favorite bonus feature b) which is that unlike the typical entertainment parks you've been to which do not include the lodging option, you will not need to rent one of those overpriced tiny lockers in which to stuff your whole family's backup dry clothes, gift purchases, wax sculptures or other such things that are often acquired at these types of single day only no lodging attractions.
All of the rooms available at the Nick Hotel are generously suite sized. The great news is, however, they are not your typical suite prices. Depending on availability and advance notice of reservations you could make out with quite a remarkable deal to accommodate your family at the Nickelodeon Family Suites Hotel in Orlando, Florida. The hotel offers three room levels: a one bedroom kitchen suite, a 2 bedroom Kidsuite and a 3 bedroom Kidsuite. The Kidsuite specification means one of your rooms can have either two twin beds or a single set of standard bunk beds.
Don't let this mislead you though into the impression that the Nick Hotel was only designed to accommodate the kids in your traveling party. The rooms at the Nickelodeon Family Suites Hotel are luxury style large and fun even in themselves for members of your whole family. The Nick Hotel offers a full kitchen, a microwave (popcorn!) as well as a Sony Playstation 2 in each room which works also as a DVD player.
Finally, the best part of this Orlando, Florida lodging option is that you won't find yourself spending a fortune to receive these great Nick Hotel amenities. While prices do fluctuate according to season and availability, the Nickelodeon Family Suites Hotel by Holiday Inn took an extra step to remain competitive every day of the year with their pricing.
The policy is referred to as the Lowest Internet Rate Guarantee and it is a promise to give you just that by the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) in regards to the Nickelodeon Family Suites Hotel, Holiday Inn or any of the other properties under their management. Under this Lowest Rate commitment, IHG gives you their word that if after booking a room online with on one of their hotels you discover a competitor's offer for the same accommodations at a lower price, they will not only lower your room rate to match the other but they will take 10% off of the total rate on top of it.
If all of this sounds alluring consider the fact that the Nick Hotel is constantly organizing a unique schedule of events and activities for guest to enjoy that change and probably only get better with each day and each new week. With this commitment to quality and lack of repetition in events offered guests of all types to the Nickelodeon Family Suites Hotel are bound to come across a at least a few things that seem to be catered just to their personal entertainment.
The Nickelodeon Family Suites Hotel by Holiday Inn, Orlando Florida offers a refreshing new face in discount lodging and domestic tourism and travel. They deliver prices you can't beat, they have a variety of activities to offer, and provide access to practical yet creative physical structures in which to participate in them, that you can take advantage of without even leaving the hotel property.
The all encompassing hotel appropriately does it all and more: Inspire the youngsters, challenges the adults and maintains the perfect mixture of this and that to successfully, all in all, keep this family scene fresh.
Everything you need at your fingertips. The creators of this discount non-Disney hotel quite clearly view the customer overall experience as their priority.
And I mean really, what more could you want?
