NickToons Unite Game Tip: How to Beat the Bosses

Jessica Lynn
"Nicktoons Unite" is a fun game that unites the popular Nickelodeon characters Danny Phantom, Spongebob Squarepants, Timmy Turner and Jimmy Neutron as they save their worlds from villains who have joined forces to form "The Syndicate". This is a guide on how to beat the villains at the end of each level when playing the game on a Playstation 2.

Nicktoons Unite Tip: How to Beat Vlad: Level 1:

The first level in Nicktoons Unite is the world of Danny Phantom, and you must beat Vlad at the end of the level to proceed to the next world. In order to beat Vlad, you will need to use Danny Phantom's newly acquired ability to take control of ghosts by jumping and pressing "A" to slam jump near them, stunning them. You will need to do this close to Danny's father who has been turned into a ghost. After slam jump next to Danny's father, press B to take control of him.

After taking control of Danny's father, punch at Vlad to break through his shield. Once Vlad's shield is down, he can be attacked by other characters. Repeat this process until Vlad is out of life energy, measured by the bar at the top right of the screen. Remember that taking control of ghosts sucks Danny's energy (measured by his purple bar), so you will need to occasionally get the purple energy next to Vlad to recharge.

Nicktoons Unite Tip: How to Beat Plankton: Level 2

The second level is in Bikini Bottom, home to SpongeBob Squarepants. At the end of the level, you will have to combat Plankton , who is in a large robotic crab. The crab is initially perched on a platform above the ground, but it jumps down to attack Spongebob and friends. The robot sends out a round of energy that will hit the characters. You will need to jump to avoid it.

Keep Spongebob near the robotic crab. Use Spongebob's ability to throw bubble bombs to leave a bomb near the crab. The timing will need to be right, so that the bomb explodes while the crab is still there or as the crab returns to that spot. It may take some practice to get the timing right. When the bomb explodes, it will knock the crab onto it's back. While it is on its back, the robot is susceptible to attacks from all characters. Repeat this process until the robot is out of life.

Nicktoons Unite Tip: How to beat Crocker: Level 3

The third level takes place in the homeland of Cosmo and Wanda, Timmy Turner's fairy godparents. To pass this level, you must beat Crocker who is in a flying metal suit and disengage his machine. This will require a team effort.

Throughout the previous levels, you've used Timmy's ability to freeze things. You will need to utilize that ability to turn off the generators on each corner of the platforms. Before you can do this, you'll need to stop Crocker from attacking. This will require you to attack him with Timmy or Jimmy's guns. When he is hit several times, he will spin away and the generators will turn off. At this time, you can run and freeze them, which makes them vulnerable to being broken. Repeat this process for each generator on the platform on each platform. If Crocker moves into the center of the platform, he recharges his energy.

Nicktoons Unite Tip: How to beat the Fleabot: Level 4:

The 4th level of the game takes place inside Goddard. This is the last level of the game before facing all of the villains at once. To pass this level, you will need to battle the professor in the fleabot. The fleabot jumps down from its perch and bounces around the screen, sending out harmful rays.

Every time the fleabot makes it back to its perch, it recharges its energy, which extends the battle. You can keep the fleabot from its perch and recharging by shaking the whole area, which will shake the fleabot from its perch. Shake the area by pressing B while near the large drum on the upper level on the right side of the screen. To cause damage to the fleabot, use Danny Phantom's sonic scream. Repeat these steps until the fleabot is out of life.

Nicktoons Unite Tip: How to Beat the Final Villain Challenge and the Game:

After beating all four levels, you will have to battle all of the villains at once. They are in shielded pods that are connected to form one spinning machine in the center of a platform. To turn off a shield on a pod, you will need to get to an outlying platform to turn off a corresponding generator. The walkways to the outlying platforms are incomplete. To move the missing parts into place, you will need to slam jump on the correct slam pads.

There are marks on the corner of each crashpad and some of these marks are highlighted. The highlighted parts tell you which part of which walkway will be moved when you jump on the pad. Look at a walkway to see which parts are missing and then slam on the crashpad that will move the correct parts into place.

Each generator requires a different charcter to disengage it. Once you have a complete walkway, make it to the outlying platform, and are able to disengage a shield, you will need to rush back to the center to attack the correct pod. An orange arrow will be pointing out where that pod is. When you disengage a generator, it does NOT stay disengaged permanently unless you have completely destroyed the corresponding pod and villain. Every time the center spinning pod machine disappears ito the ground, it re engages the shields on the pods. It is suggested to completely destroy one pod at a time, as you may need to run back to disengage the shield generator again. Afterwards, you can move on to the next walkway and shield generator. We found it easiest to start with the yellow walkway.

OMG! How do you beat the first level of Jimmy's world?
It is so hard, and I cant find a walkthrough ANYWHERE! I always seem to fall in the green goo stuff, and run out of live's. If it is possible, could you post a video?

Isn't there an easier way to defeat the fleabot? It keeps healing and I can only get rid of 10% of its health before it gets back on its perch and I can't hit the eardrum before the flea-bot restores its energy? I use Danny's ghostly wail but it doesn't do much against it!
