Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Welcome Second Daughter Faith Margaret

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have a new baby daughter - Faith Margaret Kidman Urban. She was born on 28 December 2010 at a Nashville, Tennessee hospital to a surrogate mother, referred to by the couple as "our gestational carrier". This totally destroys the rumor that Nicole was sporting a "baby bump" at the recent Golden Globe Awards.

Kidman and Urban released a statement saying they are "truly blessed" and thanked everyone for their support, "our gestational carrier" in particular.

"Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret," the statement, posted on Urban's website, read.

"No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier."

The new baby will be a welcome playmate for the couple's first daughter, two-year-old Sunday Rose. Kidman has reportedly credited her first daughter's unexpected appearance to swimming in the waters of a small Australian Outback town during the filming of Australia. She and six other women became pregnant after swimming in Kununurra in Western Australia.

Kidman has two other children, son Connor and daughter Isabella, adopted during her first marriage to US actor Tom Cruise. These children live with Tom Cruise and his third wife Katie Holmes and their tot Suri.

Nicole split with Cruise in 2001. She met Keith Urban at the January 2005 G'Day USA event presented each year to promote everything Australian in the US. They married in June 2006 at the Sydney suburb of Manly amidst a paparazzi frenzy.
