The contestant on season 10 DWTS has been a joy to watch - Nicole's hard work and determination helped propel her to the final. Scherzinger has been dancing all of her life - starting at age three. She rehearsed up to six hours every single day with pro dancer Derek Hough for her appearances on DWTS. Talk about a demanding fitness routine!

Nicole says to find a workout that you love. "Dancing is such a good workout for me! I get to use so many different muscles," the Pussycat Dolls singer tells OK!
Obviously dancing will not be everyone's most beloved workout for fitness, but finding something that you love to do will make it that much easier to stick with it long-term.
Scherzinger's next tip in staying fit is to have a routine. This keeps her focused and committed. With everyone having such chaotic schedules, this can be particularly hard for people to maintain. If you're not able to stick with a regular schedule on a daily basis, then do your best to have a regular schedule each week, even if the order or activity may change for each day.
Nicole mentions how important it is to take healthy snacks with her. "I always have nutritious options like fruit, veggies, and trail mix in my bag," she says.
That's an excellent tip when it comes to food. When you're running errands or trying to resist the building's vending machine, you have healthy options close at hand.
She confesses to a weakness many of us share - chocolate! "I love Lindt's peanut butter-and-chocolate balls," Scherzinger admits to OK! "It's important to indulge and enjoy life - just be sure not to overdo it."
Moderation is very difficult sometimes, but it's the only way to get the best of both worlds.
The Pussycat Dolls lead singer also believes staying hydrated is a great aid in staying fit. Since dehydration is mistaken for hunger quite often, staying hydrated can help you avoid eating unnecessary calories. Water is the best choice, but there are health professionals that believe many other non-caffeinated liquids are equally hydrating.
While these fitness tips may not be truly groundbreaking, it's always helpful to hear what works for other people. They certainly work wonders for Nicole! We may not win the title of America's Favorite Dancer, but at least we can work towards being healthy and fit using Nicole's fitness tips as inspiration or reinforcement.
