Stars that shine
Ever so bright
The moon has gone to hide away
No shaddows to cast
On this dreary day
Cotton candy replaces leaves
As trees dance in the wind
Fancy fireflies zoom about the night
Never to rest 'til morning breaks light
Dancing daisies by day
Now become firce flowers
Morning glories hide away
They dare not look danger in the face
What has happened to this peaceful place?
The stars, where have they gone?
There is no more to shine,
Yet light meets the sky
Could it be,
That night has escaped me
As fast as it had come?
Where had I been
What had I done
I drempt a dream
But what dream did I dream
The sun is not here
It has not come to rise
What is that light
That meets the sky
Dream upon dream
My world moves
Once awake
Or thought to be
Only to find it all a dream
Ever so bright
The moon has gone to hide away
No shaddows to cast
On this dreary day
Cotton candy replaces leaves
As trees dance in the wind
Fancy fireflies zoom about the night
Never to rest 'til morning breaks light
Dancing daisies by day
Now become firce flowers
Morning glories hide away
They dare not look danger in the face
What has happened to this peaceful place?
The stars, where have they gone?
There is no more to shine,
Yet light meets the sky
Could it be,
