Mysterious Creatures Caught on Tape
No one seems to have any idea what that explanation could be, or if they do, they aren't sharing it.
Fact or Faked initially thought the night crawler image was a hoax, but attempts to recreate the image failed. Fact or Faked attempted to film a "puppet" both from a suspended wire and by walking with it on a pole. The theory was that even if someone walked the puppet, the person could have been digitally removed from the picture. All attempts failed to replicate the image, as the movement of the puppet varied greatly from the movement in the video.
Attempts to have a child, the approximate height of the recorded image, walk the same path also failed. The child's body was considerably wider that the night crawler and body parts were clearly visible.
The original video was presented at the 2008 MUFON Symposium in San José (July 2008). Reportedly captured by home surveillance equipment, the video reveals two strange creatures, dubbed nightcrawlers. The owner, claims to have been awakened in the night by his dogs barking in a "strange way". Being concerned that someone may be trying to steal from his personal property, the owner went to the surveillance camera to discover two strange beings walking across the yard. The creatures are estimated to be 2 to 3 feet high and are thought to have walked through a fence.
It is unclear whether the man watched the tape in real time or rewound it to view what had happened prior to his waking. If he watched it in real time, that poses a bit of a question for me. Why wouldn't he go look out the window to see what the creatures were? There is no information about whether he investigated them in anyway.
Although the second "nightcrawler" appears to have long legs and walks rapidly across the yard, close viewing of the video reveals that the highlighted legs may actually be some sort of fabric catching the light as the creature moves. The shadow cast by the night crawler does not reveal any separation of the legs as the object moves across the yard, but does reveal a bulbous shadow, presumably of the creature's head.
I'm not an expert by any means, but several questions come to mind. What attempts were made to "clean up the image" to get a better look at these mysterious creatures? Did professionals evaluate the film to determine if it had been altered?
For now, it seems, no one knows for sure what the night crawlers really are, but one thing is sure, Fact or Faked got the attention of its viewers.

i happen to know the person who experienced that and it was my sister in laws brother and i know its not a hoax from him because every time he starts to talk about it i can hear that his voice starts to get really shaky and hes starts getting scared so if you need to know more just comment back thank you

This is one of the few "entity" videos I've seen that really creeps me out, no matter how many times I re-watch it. The reason being is that I have a very emotional recurring memory of seeing something like this outside our house in broad daylight, when I was very young.
The memory goes like this: I was drying the dishes with my older brother washing them, one morning after our Mom asked us to. I must have been younger than five, and I remember thinking it was fun, getting to do this grown up helping thing. Still clearly remember not being able to see over the linoleum sink counter, trying not to let the soapy warm water run over the edge with the metal lip, and having to stand on some kind of stool so that I could reach high enough. As for the ghost in the woods, why is it they did not mention you can see that it is a person going AROUND as though on a footpath. It is on the left, but then shows in the trees on the far right, center.
I know I saw this episode. I sware it has to be an alien because what happened to them when they went behind the trees and dissapeared. I mean they don't look like creatures that would go underwater. So did they just vanish in thin air? We might not know until a while though. But even if they aren't aliens they could be a species that we've never found before.

You make some valid points, but the thing is it was mentioned that the man rewound the security tape and since security tapes repeatedly film over what was already recorded, he made sure to film the screen so as to have proof of what was on the camera. just giving you the facts
