Mt. Adams is about 2 miles North of downtown Cincinnati, right off Interstate 71 on Reading road. Mt. Adams is a condensed neighborhood that is ideal for walking from bar to bar. This is great if you are taking a cab from Downtown. If you choose to drive, you may want to get into Mt. Adams early, because parking is at a premium in this tiny neighborhood. Most parking is off street parking, with very few parking lots that charge. Most locals take a cab there due to their notoriously difficult parking. Taking a cab is a great idea for other reason too, like to avoid drunk driving. Hip twenty and thirty something's flock to this picturesque neighborhood weekend after weekend thanks to the great local bars and the friendly atmosphere. The next time you are visiting Cincinnati check out the neighborhood of Mt. Adams and some of these great local bars.
Longworth's is located at 1108 Saint Gregory, Mt. Adams, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45204. Longworth's is a historic restaurant, sidewalk café, and nightclub. Mt. Adams would definitely be incomplete without this popular bar. Patrons of all ages pack into this charming bar Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night for n evening of socializing and beer drinking. Longworth's offers a full bar selection of beers, wines, and liquors. Make sure you wear your comfortable shoes, because as an evening at Longworth's wears on it can become very crowded, making finding a seat nearly impossible. Longworth's closes at 2:30am. You may want to call a cab a little early if you plan on staying until close because most patrons will also be taking a cab home and it is no fun standing outside a closed bar while you hope for a ride home.
For a change of pace walk over to The Blind Lemon. The Blind Lemon is a quaint bar tucked discreetly into the Mt. Adams neighborhood. The crowd at The Blind Lemon is laid back and hip. Patrons range from the barely twenty-one to the cool older crowd bent on going out on Friday night. Outside behind The Blind Lemon patrons stand around an open fire pit to stay warm on those chili Cincinnati evenings. The Blind Lemon is located at 1071 celestial Way, Mt. Mt. Adams Bar and Grill is a great local spot in Cincinnati for a bite to eat and a cold beverage. Guests dine and drink on one of Mt. Adams Bar and Grill's four patios. A beautiful view of downtown Cincinnati can be seen from any one of these four patios. Live music is the perfect accompaniment to this breath taking view. Mt. Adams Bar and Grill is definitely a great place to stop in if you are not from Cincinnati. Visitors can get a great feel of what the Cincinnati nightlife is all about. The dress is casual and the atmosphere is friendly. If you are in the mood to dance, then checkout one of the dance floors inside.
