The Coco Loco is also a great place to hit the dance floor; however the crowd appears more mature here. Here at the Coco Loco, you can meet people from all around the world. However as mature as the older folks seem to be, after a few shots of guaro, you see them just as laidback and goofy as the younger crowd. Also, at the Coco Loco, you can dance all night long if it suits you they to do not close to dawn breaks.
Maybe you are a little more familiar and comfortable with a gay/lesbian club.
Try Al Despite which is a dance club for those who are more comfortable with dancing with others who prefer the same as they do. This is a club that serves light bocas and is located in San Jose.
If you are looking for a few good bars to drink the night away or hang out with some friends than the choice is clear. Bajarse al Moro, which is dubbed in a fantastic pinkish lighting attracting the night owls to come out and play. The African drumbeats are somewhat louder than most people would like them to be, so you will find a bigger crowd at the back where it is quieter.
