All clubs listed are open until 4 a.m. under normal circumstances, and require that those in attendance meet a certain dress code, regardless of who you are or whom you pay. Age for entry is 21, the legal drinking age for Nevada.
Tao - located inside the Venetian is one of the hottest nightclubs on the strip. The nightclub is opened Thursday-Sunday, lounge is opened Monday-Sunday. Music played at this establishment is house, hip-hop, and R & B. General admission is $20 for females, $30 for males. There are also front-of-the-line passes available. On a Saturday night, be prepared to wait. Men must wear collared shirts and dress shoes to enter.
Tabu - located at the MGM Grand is a venue playing classic lounge tunes and European-influenced vocal house blends. It is opened Thursday- Monday. Admission is $20 except on Friday, Saturday, which is $25. Front of the line passes are $40 during the week, $50 on Friday & Saturday. Dress code is enforced, which means no T-shirts, tank tops, baggy jeans, flannel shirts, hats, tennis shoes or work boots.
JET - located inside The Mirage plays rock, hip-hop and popular dance music in the main room; house music in a second room, and eclectic mixes in the third. It is opened Thursday-Saturday & Monday. Admission is $30, with front of the line passes being $40 for women and $50 for men. The dress code is Casual chic. This means no tank tops, athletic wear, tracksuits, jeans or shorts. However, they will allow fashionable sneakers.
rumjungle - is located at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Resort. It features a restaurant, lounge, and nightclub. The nightclub is opened Wednesday-Saturday. Admission ranges from $16 on Wednesday, to $25 on the weekend. Music styles include R&B, house, hip-hop, funk, Top 40, 80s, mash-ups and reggae. This varies depending on the night and DJ. Attire is upscale nightlife. Blue jeans are allowed, but only if wearing a blazer or collared shirt.
Prive' - inside of Plant Hollywood is home to Top 40, mash up, rock and hip-hop music. They are opened Monday, Friday, and Saturday. Admission is $20 for females and $30 for males. This is a nice club, but a little lower key than some of the others on the list. Be aware that admission based on attire is at the discretion of those working the door. So play it say and dress nicely.
Tryst - inside Wynn is a very classy place, complete with a waterfall emerging from the dance floor. Open Thursday-Sunday and playing Top 40, hip-hop, mash-ups, and house music, the attire required to enter is upscale. Admission is $20 for females and $30 for males.
Pure - at Caesar's Palace is home to the former fiancé of Nicole Richie, DJ AM. They feature house, rock, and hip-hop music. Be assured that on a weekend night this place will be packed. It is frequented by visitors, locals and anyone else who can get in. Admission is $20 for females and $30 for males. They are open Friday-Sunday & Tuesday. Dress code must be club chic and is enforced.
Pussycat Dolls Lounge Vegas - located next to Pure and inside of Caesar's Palace showcases the burlesque group. At any given time you may see a show complete with Hollywood celebs such as Charlize Theron or Paris Hilton, who have both donned the stage in fishnets to perform with the girls. They perform about every half hour for no more than five minutes, but perform different routines when they do. In between, the DJ on duty for the night plays various types of music. They are open Tuesday-Saturday at 8:30p with the first show at 10:30p. The cover charge varies by day, so call them for more details.
ghostbar (off strip) - which is located at The Palms hotels is off the strip. However, there is no way that you could cover the hottest nightlife without including this one. The most exciting thing about this club is the view. You are able to access the windows that look out 180 degrees around the city. This one is open 7 days a week. Admission is $20 during the week, $30 on Friday-Saturday, and $75 for the All Access pass, which allows you into the ghostbar, Moon, Playboy and Rain nightclubs for the night. Music styles include old school, rock, hip-hop, mash-ups, and '80s. The dress code is upscale chic.
I-Bar (off strip) - is located at the Rio Hotel and is a little different from all the others on the list. This is one of the most popular bars at this hotel, and actually gets really packed. This is not a club, but a bar that plays swing, R&B, Soul, and Techno. It is another spot to see and be seen. Moreover, yes, unbelievably this place offers front of the line passes. I told you that it gets crowded. The bar seats 100 people, but full capacity of the place is 250. There are not dress code restrictions at this establishment, as it is not your regular club.
