Nights Veil
A star filled night
A fiery blue light
Upon the darkness
Does so vigilantly fight
Brighter it grows
Till darkness begins to fade
Brighter, brighter yet
These stars do shine
Until night is far behind
And there beyond the distance
Lay a moon hid away
Beneath the clouds so grey
The stars begin to dance
An evoking dance
Grasping the clouds within its trance
Provoking them to disperse
In an instant
The moon so radiant
Lights the way
Holding its stance
Ne'er giving up
Outshining the darkness
Till night lifts
Where there upon the darkness
Laying low to the ground
Upon the horizon it begins
The sun has come
To rescue the moon
Aiding in its fight
To rid the world of the night
