Every morning, the diapers would leak and I would have to wash my baby's sheet and pajamas and give my son a bath before I did anything else. Something needed to change.
Many of my friends used the White Cloud brand from Wal-Mart, so I went to Wal-Mart to buy the White Cloud diapers. When I got them home, I could not see any difference between the Target Brand Baby Diapers and White Cloud. Of course, the pictures on the diapers were different, but they both had the same papery feel and had the same absorbency. The next morning I was again doing laundry and giving my baby a bath, even though I switched brands.
I found myself at the store again, but this time I decided to go with a name brand diaper. Pampers Cruisers were on sale, so I bought a package of the Cruisers. I loved how stretchy they were and they felt more like a cloth diaper than my Target Brand Diapers. The next morning, I woke up to a happy baby. The sheet was dry, the pajamas were dry, and, most importantly, my baby boy was dry. The diaper was extremely heavy when I changed my son that morning. We used the Pampers Cruisers all day and night, and we were very satisfied with the Cruisers.
When I went to get more Pampers Cruisers, I ran into a problem. We did not have enough money to keep buying the expensive diapers. I was on Pampers' mailing list, but they sent out very few coupons and the coupons were not for very much off the diapers. That day I came home with Huggies Baby Shaped Diapers because I had a better coupon for the Huggies. I was nervous because I was again trying a new brand of diaper for nighttime, but I did not need to worry. Huggies Baby Shaped Diapers worked very well at nighttime. They did not leak at all. I was hooked on using Huggies Baby Shaped Diapers for nighttime. And in order to save money, I used the Target Brand Baby Diapers during the day and even wrote an Associated Content article comparing the two diapers.
As the cliché goes, all good things must come to an end and so did my dependence on the Huggies Baby Shaped Diapers for use at night. After my son turned two-years-old, his Huggies Baby Shaped Diapers began to leak. So I was back to washing the sheet and pajamas and giving him a bath in the morning. I again tried the Pampers Cruisers, but they would not absorb enough at nighttime either. Every time I went to a new store, I would look at the diaper aisle, hoping there was a new miracle product to solve my son's nighttime diaper leakage.
Just as I was about to give up my search, I went to a store 10 miles from my home. As I walked down the diaper aisle, a dark purple package caught my attention. Huggies Overnites. Could this be the miracle product I was looking for? I was glad to find that I could use regular Huggies coupons on the Huggies Overnites. The next morning, my son was very dry and happy. The Overnites worked well. It even looked like there was some absorbency room left over for more. The diaper looked comfortable. It was stretchy and felt soft and non-papery. My son also liked the picture of Mickey Mouse sleeping on the front of the diaper.
I usually stock up on the Overnites when I buy them because only the one store in my area carries them. When that store was out of them, I resorted to buying the new Pull-Ups Nite*Time with extra absorbency, also made by Huggies. The Pull-Ups worked the same as the Huggies Overnites. They seemed comfortable and fit my son well. But since the Pull-Ups Nite*Time was more expensive and my son was not ready to be potty trained, I decided to go back to the Huggies Overnites when they were in stock again. I have been waking up to a dry baby ever since.
