Nikki Reed Talks "Breaking Dawn" Directors at the "Twilight: New Moon" DVD Launch Party
Twilight's Nickki Reed Refuses to Pick Sides in the Question of Who Should Be Directing "Breaking Dawn"
Joined by director Chris Weitz, the brunette beauty signed autographs and posed for pictures as a large crowd descended upon the local Wal-Mart store.
While there, Miss Reed was asked by press her thoughts on who should be chosen to direct the "Breaking Dawn" installment of the hit franchise.
Nikki replied, "I was trying to ask them earlier today, and they wouldn't give me anything. But all the directors that you mentioned, I mean, that would be fantastic, both [Van Sant and Coppola]. Either one. I mean, we would be honored."
Summit Entertainment isn't divulging anything concrete about the fate of "Breaking Dawn," an inside source says Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be working on not one, but two movies based on the final book.
The "Twilight" spy confirmed that "Breaking Dawn" parts one and two will be filmed in a row. "It's solid and they will be filmed back-to-back."
As for who will helm the projects, it's still up in the air. Summit is "nowhere close" to making that all-important director decision.
And script-wise, things are still in the works. "Melissa Rosenberg is closer to having both scripts done." Sounds like there's plenty more "Twilight" fun to be had!
The previous day, Nikki was decked out in a fabulous blue frock as she took in the presentation of Yotam Solomon's Fall/Winter 2010 Line in Los Angeles.
