Nikon Coolpix L5 VR Review

Amanda B
I upgraded to this camera from a Nikon Coolpix 2100 with 2.1 MegaPixels.
VR (Vibration Reduction)is very helpful in obtaining a clearer more crisp picture even when taking moving shots.
A hefty 7.2 MegaPixels allowing for total clarity in even the largest of prints.
5x zoom allows you to get super close even to the hardest of things to photograph.
Compact design makes it super easy to keep with you anywhere you go.
It has an internal feature for red-eye correction.
Has capability to record a movie with sound.
Does not come with any starter memory, but has SD card slot.
Only accepts regular AA batteries. Does not hold the standard digital camera battery I am used to seeing.
Very user friendly guidebook and software.
Comes with USB data transfer cable for uploading pictures to a personal computer.
Also comes with AV cables, enabling you to show a slide show or video on your television.

Overall, this is an excellent digital camera. With an MSRP of only $249.95, its an ultra affordable option as well.
The only real drawback to this camera is the delay between pushing the shutter button and capturing the targeted point.

I give this camera 4.4 out of 5 stars.

Overall
Pros:
-Large Display Window
-Superior Zoom Capability
-Clear Pictures With Many Scene Settings

Cons:
-Slow To Take Picture Once Button Is Pressed
-Only Uses AA Batteries
-No Memory Included
