Nine Year Old Comlpains of an Ear -ache: What's Inside?

Have you ever gotten an ear-ache that lingered on and on? How many times have you taken your child to the doctor for an ear ache? How many times have you taken your child to the doctor with a cold related headache and ear-ache?

You would most likely expect the doctor to say the child has an ear infection. Usually, an ear infection is what the doctor finds when one of my grandchildren complains of an ear-ache; and the doctor would prescribe an antibiotic when necessary. Sometimes the child's ears are just red and irritated.

This one little nine year old boy complained of an ear-ache and sounds in his ears. The mother took him to see the doctor. What a surprise and shock it must have been to the mother and the doctor. When the doctor discovered what was inside.

What the doctor found was; two spiders living inside the young boys ear. The doctor took the spiders out. The little boy is happy.

In his brief TV news interview; the young boy said that the noise in his ears sounded like the popping of rice crispy cereal.
