Nine-ish at Last!
though it was such a long time-ish
that I was stuck near Eightish
kinda hurry-up-and waitish.
Sorta knock myself out-ish
yet still not much more Cloutish
cause progress was so slowish
page views going to and fro-ish
That I was disillusion-ish
but now I'm change-my-tune-ish
because I am Clout Nine-ish
(hey it's-about-time-ish.)
But I do wonder-when-ish
I'll ever get to Ten-ish.
Translation
When I hit a hundred thousand page views, I didn't yell out "yay"
I didn't write an article at 150 K
So I think I'm due to celebrate that I'm Clout 9 today.

Associated Content writers go up in Clout number (and presumably compensation) as their page views and content increase. We all start at Clout 1 heading for the faraway Clout 10. Most of us spend a seeming eternity in Clout 8.
