Ninja Blender Master Prep Review

Fastest Blender Cuts Prep Time in Half

Paul Bright

Our house is full of amateur cooks that enjoy the cooking process as much as eating the finished product. The Ninja Blender Master Prep is one of the most valuable purchases we have made for our busy kitchen. It works as advertised; maybe a little too well. But could it work for your home?

Ninja Blender Master Prep Parts. My particular Ninja Blender Master Prep set came with multiple bowls in different sizes, which is extremely useful for cooking with multiple ingredients that need a different preparation styles. Splash guards keep stuff from flying around as the 450 watt motor powers the blades, while the snap-on lids keep all your food sealed once you're done chopping. You also get replacement rubber liners.

The multi-layered blade assembly's design is what really separates the Ninja Blender Master Prep from other blenders. The curvature of the blades combined with the motor speed is what makes the swift cuts. We've had cheap blenders in the house that take multiple cycles just to chop ice or vegetables. Since the Ninja Blender Master Prep isn't made of cumbersome parts, you can operate and store it easily.

Ninja Blender Master Prep Operation. Ninja Blender Master Prep operation is pretty simple in design. You insert the blade assembly inside the cup and attach the splash guard. Attach the motor through the splash guard. Press the button and watch the blades spin. Put an onion inside the Ninja Blender Master Prep for about half a second and you'll get perfectly chopped pieces. Move the motor to another bowl and press the button for longer to get a puree. I love to make lumpia and I've used the Ninja Blender Master Prep to chop up my onions, carrots, cabbage and even the ground meat! This cut my lumpia preparation time in half.

I would highly recommend that you press the button very lightly at first as if you knew you were going to be electrocuted because the Ninja Blender Master Prep only operates at one speed: fast. It doesn't take much to get the motor going, so I would not recommend letting small children operate the Ninja Blender Master Prep. Because it works so fast, you must be absolutely certain you have all the pieces lined up perfectly. Otherwise these blades can hurt you or damage other objects.

Cleaning and storage. Most Ninja Blender Master Prep parts are dishwasher safe, with the exception of the blade. If you have small children, I highly recommend hand washing the blade set and move it high out of reach. Again, the Ninja blade set is very sharp. We typically rinse the bowls and check inside the lid seals for trapped food particles before putting them in the dishwasher. Nothing about the Ninja Blender Master Prep is heavy or cumbersome, so storing everything is really easy.
