Nintendo Wii August 2010 Game Releases

Nintendo has always been known for the high volume of games that are released. With another seven games released in August the selection of games continues to grow every month. While not every game released is a game that everyone will enjoy, there is usually something for everyone. Below is a list of the games released in August of 2010.

Metroid: Other M Release Date: Aug 31, 2010

The next title in the Metroid series "Metroid other M" is a combination of first person and third person shooter. "Metroid M" promises to have some major differences from the other Metroid games to intrigue even the most jaded Metroid fan to play this on the Wii.

Tales of Elastic Boy - Mission 1 Release Date: Aug 30, 2010

Using the Wii remote you will roll, stretch and swing to defeat enemies and cross obstacles. Using your stretching abilities in interesting ways to play the game will challenge players of all ages. All of this in a quest to save the planet that you love.

Gunblade NY & LA Machineguns Arcade Hits Pack Release Date: Aug 24, 2010

This flying game in the city allows you the fun of defending against a host of android invaders. Since this game is Wii Zapper compatible, the fun of aiming and shooting is just an accessory away.

And Yet It Moves Release Date: Aug 23, 2010

A game based on a world of paper, this unique game allows you to spin the environment to maneuver through the levels. Beware though, shifting things can make harmless items dangerous. A little thought can go a long way in this challenging Wii game.

Gold's Gym Dance Workout Release Date: Aug 17, 2010

This is another in the great series of workout games that made the Wii so popular with us grown-ups. With a large selection of current hit songs this game is sure to be a hit with the kids as well.

Deer Captor Release Date: Aug 2, 2010

Is Deer Captor a Wii hunting game that you do not hunt in? Yes it is. No killing in this game just trying to capture various animals all over the world.
