Nintendo's newest system, the Wii, is advertised as a true "family" oriented entertainment system. Nintendo has done an amazing job taking the idea of gaming and brining it to the entire family with their easy to understand controls, innovative game play, and fun and simple games. One such game is Wii Play, a kind of party game that uses the Wii remote and its capabilities to its full advantage, and will be fun for the whole family.

One of the greatest parts about the Wii Play is the fact that the game uses you're previously created Mii characters as the players in a game. After creating a Mii on your Wii consul you'll be able to transfer them over to the Mii game and use them instead of being assigned a random character.

The games that the Wii play showcases are not all that great in terms of graphics, but then again are really not supposed to be. The Wii Play concept was to create an inexpensive game that would really use the Wii remotes ability to its full potential, and the Wii Play does just that. You'll be playing games such as the Shooting Gallery where the Wii Remote becomes a gun that you'll use to hit targets of various forms, or it may become your paddle while playing table tennis, but overall the Wii play does do it's job in allowing the user to get a good feel for what Nintendo's newest consul is capable of.

One of the greatest aspects of purchasing the Wii Play pack is that you'll not only get a great game but also another Wii Remote! The Wii play package cost around 45-50 dollars but includes another Wii Remote to be used on the system, this automatically allows users to enable two player games since the Wii consul also comes with a Wii Remote, and of course the price is right considering that a Wii Remote by itself will cost you right around 40 dollars.

The Graphics on the Wii play are not the best by any means, but somehow seem to flow with game play. Everything tends to be bright and colorful, even the animation seems to be something that was draw or conceived by a child. Overall the fishing game has the worst graphics with everything from the landscape, which is limited to a gray backdrop with a few trees, to the fish look like they are cardboard cutouts, and the game Tanks! Is another throw back in terms of graphics, but still the Wii play game was designed to put the Wii Remote to the test, not necessarily offer the best overall graphics.

If you're going to buy a Wii, then I would highly recommend that you purchase the Wii play package as well. The package includes another remote for the Wii, which is great because chances are that you bought the Wii to play with friends and family, but also includes a game that uses the full advantage of the Wii Remote in nine various, and addicting mini games!
