Nissan Dealers to Offer Stellar Discounts on Upcoming Leaf Electric Vehicle

The invasion of electric vehicles is drawing near and many car buyers are eagerly awaiting the debut of several battery-powered vehicles. While the U.S currently has a few electric vehicles to choose from, the much anticipated Nissan Leaf will hit dealer lots this fall. The Leaf, a mass-produced electric vehicle with mainstream appeal, is already bargain priced at just over $32,000, or just over $25,000 after the federal rebate of $7,500 is factored in, but prices for the Nissan Leaf may soon drop even lower.

Then, a lone dealer responded by claiming that they would beat any deal out there. Now, the biggest deal of all, a San Francisco dealer committed to 5% off of the Leaf's MSRP. This discount amounts to almost $1,700 off of the $25,000 price tag.
