Nivea for Men Active 3 Sport Body Wash

3-in-1 Cleanser for Shower, Shampoo and Shave

Susan Slade
Nivea for Men Active 3 Sport shower, shampoo, shave, Body Wash, is the new guy in town. CVS had it reduced from $5.99, down to $4.99, with a coupon for the full $4.99 in 'extra bucks' at the cash register. It certainly pays to check out offers.

This is a big 16.9 fluid ounce (500 ml) bottle, that is navy blue. It states on the top that it is 'new'. It has a gray colored flip top. There is a picture of a razor, and a guy running on the front label.

This doesn't put me off trying it. I wanted to wash my hair, have a shower, and thought that I would shave my legs too, so this should be the perfect product for me.

Once in the shower, the first thing I noticed it that this bottle doesn't have anywhere to grip. It is smooth all over, and the shiny labels, on the back and front, make it even more slippery. This is a heavy bottle, so could do some harm if it fell on your toes.

I got under the shower, and wet my hair, and body. I then moved the shower head away from my hair, and tipped the bottle, to get a good amount of the light blue, pearly colored body wash in my hands.

I then rubbed it into my hair, and got an average type of lather. The smell was fresh, and clean. I added more water to my hair to improve the lather, but it stayed pretty much the same. I wasn't overly happy with Nivea Active 3 as a shampoo, so rinsed it off my hair, and used one of my color treated conditioners.

Then I put a small amount of the Nivea For Men Active 3 Sport Body Wash on my pouf, I squeezed it under the water, and got lots of foam it in. I went all over my body, and it really covered well.

I grabbed my razor, and shaved my legs. The hairs came off easily with just one slide of the razor.

I finished rinsing my hair and body, and then stepped out of the shower.

My hair turned out fine, but I think that was due to the good quality conditioner I used. My body felt clean, and refreshing. My legs were silky smooth, and I was delighted how the Nivea worked as a shaving cream.

So if you are looking for a 2-in-one, meaning body wash, and shaving cream, you will be delighted with this product. I would suggest you use a good quality shampoo, rather than this product. It just didn't do anything for my hair. I still felt that it had hairspray in it, and that it wasn't completely clean.

As usual, my husband Len has a new product to try, but I will tell him to use his Head & Shoulders shampoo.

This product is dermatologically tested, and for more information you can go to www.niveaformen.com or telephone 1-800-227-4703.

I personally wouldn't purchase it again, because I feel that it is too big, and slippery to handle, in the shower. Nivea, you need to get some kind of grip on a product such as this.

DISCLOSURE OF MATERIAL CONNECTION:
Paid $4.99, and received it back in a register coupon.

I've wanted to get this for my guy. He uses his current body wash (Old Spice) as an all-over cleaner, then uses MY razor on his face :) I want to get him this
