These simple no bake cookie recipes are a perfect treat you can spend some time making with the kids. Because they are no bake cookies you don't have to worry about little hands getting burned when the eyes in the back of your head fail you!

A few of these no bake cookie recipes do require a little stovetop time, but for the majority of the time, kids can easily help you!

Chocolate Peanut-Butter No Bake Cookies

2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
Waxed paper

In a heavy saucepan bring to a boil, the sugar, cocoa, butter and milk. Let boil for 1 minute then add peanut butter, vanilla and oatmeal. On a sheet of waxed paper, drop mixture by the teaspoonfuls, until cooled and hardened.

Let the kids help with this simple recipe by using one of those great metal ice cream scoop spoons, the kind with the lever that pushes the scoop of ice cream out. Your cookies will all be the same size and you won't have to handle the warm cookie dough!

Chocolate frosting Cookies

This is my favorite no bake cookie recipe. Seriously, all you need is 15 minutes and a blender. If you have strong arms you could easily make this no bake cookie recipe without the blender!

1 tub chocolate frosting
2 Cups Ground up Graham Crackers
Crushed Almonds
Hershey Kisses

If you can't find pre ground graham crackers, then just crush some in your food processor or mixer. You could also put some in a Ziploc bag and bang it on the counter. You do want them to be a fine powdery crumble though.

Scoop all of the chocolate icing out into a bowl. Pour in the graham crackers that are crushed up. Blend together. Now, you can add more crushed graham crackers if needed, but you are looking for a doughy batter that can be shaped into balls.

Now, form small balls of the dough. Roll them in the crushed almonds. Press a Hershey's kiss in the middle of each one and press down! Now, that was easy.

You can use almost any icing in a can that you want for this simple a pretty cookie.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Ball Cookies

2 cups crushed Graham Crackers
1 cup Powdered Sugar
1 cup Peanut Butter
Hershey Kiss
Chocolate Chips or Meltable Chocolate
Cream (optional)
Wax Paper

Mix the crushed graham crackers, the powdered sugar, and he peanut butter together with your mixer. You can add more crushed graham crackers if you find this mixture too loose or sticky.

Now, spray some Pam on your hands. Roll the dough into balls. Melt the meltable chocolate in your microwave and dip the peanut butter balls into the chocolate. If you have to use chocolate chips, add a little cram to them. It will make the melted chocolate smooth, shiny, and creamy.

Set the chocolate peanut butter balls on the wax paper and press on Hershey's kiss into the middle to flatten in to a cookie shape!

You can use crunchy peanut butter or smooth peanut butter for this simple no bake cookie recipe. You could also use white chocolate chips or even peanut butter chips in place of the meltable chocolate.

Tip: You can add stick o butter, but up the graham crackers between ½ to 1 cup more. You need to keep these cookies in the fridge if you add the butter!
