No Bake Healthy Halloween Trail Mix Recipes

Who does not love a delicious homemade and healthy trail mix to munch? Here are some great healthy and festive Halloween no bake trail mix recipes that your family will enjoy. These are very kid-friendly trail mix recipes and your kids can help you make them since they are very easy to make. Serve these up at your next Halloween party or just have them around during this spooky season for all your guests to nibble on - yum!

The Crazy Mix!-Dried Fruit and Nuts

This tasty autumn trail mix will delight the adults especially. You will need a variety of dried fruits which may include cranberries, cherries, banana chips, apricots, apples, pineapple, and raisins. Then choose your favorite nuts such as almonds, cashews, macadamia, and walnuts. Mix together equal parts of whichever dried fruits and nuts you have chosen. For a mix with less sodium, be sure to choose nuts that have not been salted or the low salt variety.

Boo! Trail Mix

This delicious mix of black and white will make for a pretty display on your party table. You will need equal parts each of chocolate covered raisins, yogurt covered raisins, chocolate covered peanuts, and yogurt covered peanuts. For a healthier alternative, visit your local health food store for carob covered raisins and peanuts instead of chocolate.

Halloween Favorite Mix

This mix is very festive looking and the kids will love it! This is a family favorite of ours and it is extremely easy to make. The sweet and salty combo keeps everyone coming back for more. Combine together a jar of peanuts and a bag of candy corn. Okay, this is the least healthy of the trail mixes, but at least you are getting your protein. Use low salt peanuts to decrease the sodium.

Pretzel and Popcorn Mix - AKA Friendship Mix

This delicious snack mix will go a long way and will appeal to everyone. It is very easy to make and you can even have each of your guests bring an item to pour into a giant bowl and share. You will combine together a variety of different types of pretzels including mini pretzels, sticks, and pretzel nuggets. Get creative and you can mix and match different flavors too like honey mustard, cheesy, garlic, and onion. Then add butter flavored popcorn and kettle corn. If desired you can add reduced fat cheese crackers for the orange Halloween color.
