3/4 c. espresso (brewed)
2 Tbsp. coffee liqueur or brandy (optional)
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese - soften
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 c. sour cream
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder (divide in 1/2)
Chocolate curls and mint leaves (optional)
Place lady fingers on cookie sheet, uncovered overnight to dry.
Combine expresso and liqueur.
Dip half of the lady fingers in expresso mixture and place on bottom of 2 quart serving bowl.
Beat cream cheese and sugar on medium until fluffy, add sour cream, beating until blended well. Add whipping cram and beat till smooth. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the lady fingers. Place 1 Tbsp. Cocoa in a fine strainer and lightly tap the rim and dust the cocoa over the cream cheese. Dip Remaining lady fingers in expresso mixture. Lay them over the cream cheese. Thjen spread the remainder of the cream cheese mix over the lady fingers. Dust remaining 1 Tbsp. cocoa over the cream cheese layer. Regrigerate with a cover on it for at least 4 hours. Topw with the chocolate curls and mint leaves (optional).
