'No Ceilings' Mixtape: 'No Ceilings' Mixtape a Big Farewell Mixtape for Lil Wayne

"No Ceilings" mixtape is Lil' Wayne's last mixtape for a while. 'No Ceilings' mixtape is awesome. The Lil Wayne "No Ceilings" will have to hold Lil' Wayne's fans over for a while, as Lil' Wayne is getting locked up for at least a year for weapons charges. Lil' Wayne's full sentence could be up to 7 years, although the rapper plans to only serve about one year of his sentence.

The really cool think about the "No Ceilings" mixtape is that the mixtape includes Lil' Wayne's rendition of these songs. For instance, "I gotta Feelin" is an upbeat pop-like song sung by the Black eyed Peas. On the "No Ceilings" Mixtape Lil' Wayne showcases his version to the world.

The incident that landed the mastermind behind the "No Ceilings" mixtape could have been easily avoided. Police raided Lil' Wayne's bus and found Lil' Wayne with a gun on his person, and some reports indicate that he may have been under the influence of marijuana at the time as well, although his charges are weapons and not drug charges.

The "No Ceilings" mixtape has received a lot of publicity, and Lil' Wayne's fans are all excited about their favorite mix-master's newest endeavor. It's great that the "No Ceilings" mixtape is getting so much positive publicity, as it will give Lil' Wayne the inspiration he needs to help him get his next album out as soon as he is released from jail.

Reviews are mixed about the "No Ceilings" mixtape are mixed. Paste Magazine states "No Ceilings? More like no expectations.

But thankfully, Lil Wayne remembered how to rap, and well. No Ceilings isn't perfect, and at times it's downright cheesy; Weezy ends the album gleefully rapping "Party on the beach! Party on the beach! I got my weed from the west, my pills from the east!" over will.i.am's wish-I-was-deaf anthem "I Gotta Feeling." Similarly, Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" already got a hip-hop makeover by, of all people to outshine Weezy, Kid Cudi. Wayne's "Poke Her Face" just feels redundant."

Tha Good Life Reviews, on the other hand, can't stop saying great things about the mixtape, stating "I gave it a spin, and let me tell you, it is pretty damn awesome. Seems as though Weezy is taking a page out of T.I.'s book and just overloading the industry with music, and I am not going to complain about it! The tape features a total of seventeen tracks, some of which are original beats, others are form hit songs such as, "Wasted," "D.O.A." and "Run This Town". The tape as a whole is just plain crazy, and you'd be straight up silly not to download it."

If you love Lil' Wayne, the "No Ceilings" mixtape is not to be mixed. It's a great mixtape that will keep many of Weezy's fans held over until he is able to make his next mixtape masterpiece.
