No Country for Old Men

Being a huge of movies I decided to go watch the new Coen Bros Movie No Country For Old Men in the cinema late last year, Personally I thought it was one of the best of the year and the best I had seen in a long time, I figured that like myself everyone else who had watched it loved it as well. Whoa was I in for a big one!!!

After suggesting it to over 5 friends of mine and they went and watched it they all said they either hated it or didn't really see the point. This surprised me because I found the movie absolutly flawless and thrilling, while some people even found it boring. The major thing most of my friends had a problem with was the very un-hollywood ending, for me personaly it was like a breath of fresh air having seen my fair share of 2007 movies and them for the most part being extreemly cliche (Transformers, Disturbia, The Kingdom, Fracture, just too name a few) while not bad (I thoroughly enjoyed them) they lacked that shock in your face jolt that a really top movie requires to step out of the norm. My opinion is if you haven't seen No Country For Old Men go rent it now, I wouldn't advise you to buy it until you have at least watched it once because you are either gonna love it or hate it.

Quoting Javier Bardem - Your gonna have to call it, I can't call it for you......

I love writing and I'll do a review on pretty much anything if it sparks my interest.  View profile
