No Cussing Club Founder, 17-year-old McKay Hatch, Demands Apology from Joe Biden for F-Bomb

Marc Schenker
17-year-old idealist and all-around goody-two-shoes, McKay Hatch, is taking his fight straight to America's second-in-command by openly challenging Joe Biden to publicly apologize to America for his ill-disciplined gaffe of letting the F-Bomb slip during the Obamacare bill signing ceremony, earlier in the week. For those not familiar with McKay Hatch, he is a 17-year-old idealist (living in Pollyanna land, most likely), all-around, committed goody-two-shoes, and founder of something unnatural called The No Cussing Club. For those unfamiliar with Hatch's club, it was "established" by Hatch when he was a mere lad of 14 for the purposes of scrubbing society clean once and for all from the scourge known as cussing. In spite of Free Speech concerns, Hatch intrepidly called a news conference this past Friday, set Joe Biden in his sights, and confrontationally addressed him by saying, "...he [Biden] needs to be a good role model for kids and use clean and appropriate language." Yeah, Biden...you hear that?!

When Joe "Gaffe Machine 24/7" Biden opened his big, clumsy mouth to congratulate Obama during the bill signing, we were clearly shocked as shocked could be when the VP lowered the traditional prestige of his office by uttering such a profanity. For many Americans, the office of the VP has traditionally been associated with hallmarks of extreme honor and repute, as Joe Biden himself acknowledged when he recently admitted that his job was so easy on account of the fact that he had to do...nothing...nothing at all! Obviously, one McKay Hatch (the aforementioned Pollyanna and all-around goody-two-shoes) noticed, and for the rest of us, it's a damn good thing, dagnabbit!!

As for his press conference-delivered in oh-so stylish flair right in front of the little post office in his hometown of South Pasadena-Hatch was all business and clearly taking a no-prisoners approach with the white-haired, potty-mouthed VP. His reasons for holding the conference were all too clear. "We are very disappointed with Vice President Biden's words during the passage of the health bill," said a probably determined-faced Hatch, who possibly believed himself to be speaking on behalf of every, single individual across the continental United States.

Hatch then went on to detail-in such simple terms that even Democrats like Joe Biden could understand without any misinterpretations-the motivations behind his ideological cause. Said Hatch, "A lot of kids at my school, and some of my friends, would cuss and use dirty language all the time. They did it so much, they didn't even realize they were doing it. It bothered me so much that one day I challenged them to stop." Amen, McKay Hatch...Amen!

Biden clearly was not sensitive enough to Hatch's feelings, or considerate enough by any means of where Hatch was coming from (the knock-down, drag-out, no-holds-barred world of junior high school playgrounds everywhere), which is why Hatch then really started playing hardball with the VP. Probably with even more steely eyed determination in his gaze than at any time before, Hatch issued the following challenge directly at Biden. "All we ask is for a public apology and for him to take the 'no cussing challenge' and show America that hope and change starts at the top," exclaimed Hatch. Ouch! Note how cleverly Hatch also used Obama's BS-line about hope and change...on the VP after turning it around on him! Breathtaking...simply...breathtaking. You hear that, Biden? You better get your affairs in order, pal, because McKay Hatch is coming...for you (and probably cussing potty mouths everywhere, too)!

In typical, trademark, goody-two-shoes fashion, Hatch ended his thus-far powerful and news-making press conference by throwing the gauntlet at Biden. Hatch promised that he would mail-that's right, physically m-a-i-l-the profane VP a cussing jar to put money in it every time he swears (which is probably every other minute), and then donate said money to charity (probably ACORN or whatever the heck they're calling themselves now, or something). Wow, if that doesn't spell major ownage of Biden by the 17-year-old, goody-two-shoes kid, then nothing does!! To sweeten the deal, Hatch also intends to mail Biden a sweet, sweet No Cussing Club official T-shirt...just in case Biden feels a little down after being publically called out and all.

For anyone even the least bit interested in Hatch (Seriously? You may actually be interested in him???) after this impactful article detailing his self-righteous cause that very well has major Free Speech problems, look at this appearance of him on Fox and Friends and the Tonight Show (What the heck, right? I know...I know) from last year. It's just *#@&*#* dandy.

This is ridiculous, he suggest we say oh pickles! as a replacement for whatever expletive you'd rather say. If you say oh poop or oh sh@t you mind's intent is the ame regardless of the actual release. So this no cussing club is dumb. If you americans want self control, why don't you start with a no being ridiculously fat club, and swear off all cheeseburgers. Seriously if you guys get any fatter we might actually gain 1 or 2 days on the calender. We gave you a leap year because we know every for years you fat bous have to get out and vote and slow the rotational pull of the earth. What more do you want?

That kid's like a live action Rod Flanders. It's interesting how fox news calls someone who's fighting free speech inspirational.

McKay Hatch - AMERICAN HERO! VP Biden is likened to treating people like trash cans - he can step on your foot and your head pops open like a lid so he can dump his trash into it. All that education Biden went through and this is the only way he knows how to express himself? Also, what kind of respect did this show for the president?

I am offended by words used by some. The young man has a point and is seemingly very strong in his belief and request! He just might get someones' attention. If not, at least he stood for something!

Steve, what you say is obvious. However, I mean that the little, 17-year-old goody-two-shoes is seriously running afoul of free speech rights when he wants to get everyone to stop cussing. He can demand an apology from Biden, and Biden can agree or reject it. But this Hatch fellow actually wants to pass laws--and has succeeded in getting the California legislature to help him in is commie ways--forcing people not to cuss. How un-American is that?! Worse, this Hatch kid is a serious totalitarian in his methods because he wants to do the same heavy-handed approach in other states as well as--get this--internationally! What a little commie for wanting to pass speech laws.

Cussing is the mark of an illiterate boob who does not have enough command of language to express himself with real words. Kudos to Hatch, and may he continue to exercise HIS right to free speech.

Poor kid, he's never been in Jersey has he?

  • JerseyNana3/28/2010

This just shows how much we say those words about Obama and Biden and their antics!

  • Steve Schulin3/28/2010

Hi Marc - Your mention of concerns about freedom of speech seem seriously askew. There are absolutely no such concerns in this kind of case. Biden's freedom of speech means there can be no laws shutting Biden up. But that doesn't limit anyone from criticizing Biden's comments, or even urging others to not to cast their precious vote for him next time because of his coarseness.

  • J.C. Grant3/28/2010

Biden's words were indecorous as was the president's joking about it.
