No Expiration Date
Dreams Do Not Die with Age
She allowed opportunity to pass her by
I looked at her with unbelieving eyes
And told her that dreams do not expire or die
Dreams do not come with an age limit
They give our hearts the desire to beat
They give us hope to face each new day
Dreams fill the void and make our life complete
At first, she was skeptical and fearful
Could she bring back a dream she had let drift away?
Would people laugh as she tried to achieve
A dream she abandoned so easily yesterday?
But then I saw a light in her eyes
Her face appeared younger; she started to glow
She knew she could reach again for the stars
And give her fragile dream the roots it needed to grow
Only old fools dare to dream
Now those words make her laugh out loud
For she knows dreams come with no expiration date
Dreams are for everyone; no exceptions allowed

Hey you, fresh back from living our dream! Three days in the great outdoors! I'm feeling refreshed, renewed and rejuvenated - of course it will take me a year to get thru the over 800 emails staring me down. But hey, it was soooo worth it! Dreams come true - so long as you don't let them grow too old to blossom :) cheers!
