No Globalism Adopted in Davos Will Bring the Economy Back

Luis R. Miranda
Today the world awaits for the beginning of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Great expectation has been created by the media regarding possible measures that unelected corporatists and corrupted politicians may or may not consider as a way to buy some time for economic recovery. However, what the media does not really explain is that all measures to be observed and adopted will further extend the power of the banks and the corporations that control the business world today.

Although much time is given to banking reform and tightening rules on financial enterprises, it is not clearly explained that such measures really mean more concentration of power on the hands of the banks, more financial and corporate consolidation, more looting of the world's economy and less help to the large masses of people who really could use a hand. 212 million people lost their jobs in 2009, but most of the efforts to help the economy have not been focused on helping those very same people. Instead, trillions or dollars were gifted to the largest banks in the United States and Europe, around $24 trillion, and little or none of that money was used to improve economic conditions. In fact, most of the funds simply disappeared into bank accounts and the pockets of 'important' shareholders.

This week will represent an opportunity to pick up the pieces and start all over again, however it is highly unlikely the elites will soften their grip from power, money and control. It is absolutely likely instead that banks and corporations will amount and implement measures to tighten such grip with the world's economy and population as a collateral. Many of the suggestions to be considered by the President of the Bank of England and the IMF include the release of more millions of tax payer dollars to continue bailing out a stinking financial system that never satisfies its hunger for cash. If such measure is accepted, we will see more taxes being imposed on the population and deeper cuts in national and international development programs which will take the economy into a deeper hole.

It is the economy stupid, indeed. However, the economy the elites want to fund is very different from the one free markets and real capitalism would promote. In place, there will be more corporatist policies that will loosen more and more the controls over the financial system. In turn, this will spur more run away fraud. The policies adopted at Davos will be paired with other programs such as the creation of a World Environmental Bank, that will take control of the other part of billions of dollars taken from national and regional economies to finance the Cap&Trade eco-fascist scheme which by no means is dead. To this, the elites will also add the highly technological police state grid to control every facet of people's lives. Britain, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and several other nations are already immersed in this system and everyday more countries yield their sovereignty and democratic way of life to a centrally controlled organization.

The elites have been in control of the monetary, financial, health and military systems for at least 200 years and the results as we can all realize is a worsening of the conditions dependent on all those aspects. Fiat currencies were created to develop the world dependent on a debt-based program. This program has brought to its knees every single empire that existed. The financial di-regulation and the retirement of checks and balances such as the Glass-Steagall Act opened the doors for the commission of the greatest fraudulent financial events in the history of the world. Today, people do not have access to a real health care system; instead, it is a sick-care or a socialist one, where everything we eat, drink and inhale is contaminated and the solutions available to most of the population are synthetically produced government legalized poisons that are pushed through a highly corrupted medical system. The United Nations was founded in 1945 to never again repeat the horrors of the two world wars, but government sponsored military homicide alone has killed at least 200 million people. In the middle east, Iraqi families have mourned the loss of 1 million to 1.5 million relatives since 1991. In Gaza, the Arabs have suffered from the use of white phosphorous in their villages. In Pakistan and Afghanistan aerial drone bombings kill innocents in their sleep. In eastern Europe, NATO troops carry out ethnic cleansing campaigns following the best of the 'divide and conquer' philosophy.

So, if we have been under the same regime for at least two hundred years and nothing has improved; indeed most of our lives have worsened, why do we keep on hoping that the same elites, the same bankers and the same corrupt politicians will somehow drop their power and control ambitions and decide to let us live free? Davos, as it was Copenhagen, as it was Rio, as it was Kyoto, and as it will be Mexico City in 2010 is a public circus for the ignorant main stream media-dependent homosapiens who still believe big governments, international organizations, global governance and globalism will save us from the hell they have themselves created.
