No Hollywood Ending Here, a Poem

I have a great friend
She'll always be there in the end
Our bond will never bend
Through the hardships we transcend

As time gone by
My love for her rose to the sky
Thinking of her made my heart go on fire
But I know I'll never be the one she would desire

I was just white with a personality thats dry
This is why I will never be her guy
What a heartbreaking reply
That made my soul churned and cry

Another great woman to the rejection curse
That makes me feel like a dead man riding in a Hearst
But our honesty help make the friendship grew
It felt that our bond began to anew

Our friendship after that had a brand new start
She will still always be close to my heart
I hope nothing will ever tear us apart
Her beauty and friendship is a work of art
