No Longer a Child

Not that long ago you were just a baby
now you're all grown up
and such a beautiful lady.

It's hard enough that you're growing so fast
sometimes I wish I could stop the clock
so my time with you would last.

When I hear your name called
and you walk across the stage
it comes to me then on how much you've aged.

My hopes are that you continue school
just not too far away
'cause darling I will miss you.

You're a High School Graguate
and I couldn't be prouder
my tears are streaming and the crown roars louder.
