Let me start off with what this game is about. The main character is Travis Touchdown your a new assassin trying to get to the top and to do so you must work with a organization that will arrange the fights vs these top assassins. (Intro Movie) So to move to the next fight you have to raise money by doing some jobs that are odd like knocking coconuts out of trees and washing graffiti off walls there is also a place you can workout never noticed how much it helps. Now the missions are straight forward you go into the mission and you just go toward the bad guys take them out with your beam katana and move on until you reach the assassin. Each of the assassins you fight have their own style to them.

The Combat is very nice feeling with the Wii controller you got high and low attacks with the beam katana. You control these attacks just with the a button depending on if you have your controller pointing high or low pretty simple but it works very well for this game. As you go along you start to remember wrestling moves. The wrestling moves are done by grabbing the enemy and moving your nun chuck and wiimote in the direction it shows on screen. Finishing moves that you execute on a regular basis never get old you got slicing at their head and blood and coins spill out or you can slice up and split them in half with the same effect. The free roaming is not that great you got your motorcycle but this is where most of the frame rate issues occur while driving around the city i would get lots of frame rate dips. Now the art style is what makes this game stand out it just has a very unique styled look to it and also the loading screens had a cool style to them. The hud has a 8 bit old school look to it. The music seemed to fit in well with the style of game.

My final thoughts on this game i really enjoyed it when i wasn't off having to do side jobs to earn money to get to the next assassin but the game controls are tight chopping off heads seeing blood and coins pour out never gets old. The frame rate dips while driving touchdown's motorcycle kept me from enjoying the free roaming aspects i would of rather of just went from assassin mission to the next if that meant no frames rate issues but with the frame issues aside i would highly recommend at least renting this game i bought it and i think i made a good choice this is one of the best Wii titles to date and is definitely the best at using the wiimote for a sword type weapon.
