No More Hubbies for Pamela Anderson

Pamela has been through an awful lot lately, with the second divorce from Kid Rock. She plans to remain a single mom because everything that's happened is hard on her kids.

"I've tried to remarry - move on - like any other single mom I've tried to create a healthy example for my kids always," Anderson says on her online journal.

"That's why I realized early on that we are better off on our own right now," says Anderson, 39, who divorced husband Kid Rock after just four months on February 1^st.

Pamela's has two sons with her first husband Tommy Lee. Their names are Brandon, 10, and Dylan Jagger, 9. Pamela says they are "completely well adjusted and happy and thriving," Anderson says Tommy Lee "has been in their lives in a productive but small way over the years."

Anderson plans to "work on our friendship if nothing else with their father who's admittedly made mistakes but adores us."

Anderson is scheduled to head back to the set for a new show from the producers of Baywatch named Malibu. It will be similar to the original show but will have several unique twists to its own.

"I can't say no to the guys from Baywatch - they are great to my kids - my schedule is built around theirs - just a few days a week - I'm close to home," she says.

Anderson also writes of losing her 17 year old golden retriever, Star. Star died on March 18^th of this year. "He has been with me since his birth," she says, "as long as I've been in LA."

Pamela Denise Anderson (born July 1, 1967) is a Canadian actress. Pamela is a number of things including a sex symbol, glamour model, producer, TV personality, and author. Pamela is best known for acting in the 1990's TV sitcom Baywatch.

Anderson was born in Ladysmith, British Columbia and grew up in a town named Comox. After graduating from a secondary school she moved to Vancouver and became a fitness instructor. In 1989 she was offered a modeling job with Labatt's and in late 1989 she chose to model for Playboy. After modeling for playboy she decided to move to Los Angeles to continue her modeling career.

After moving to LA Anderson bleached her hair and got breast implants. In 1991 she got a role in the hit TV sitcom Home Improvement (1991-1997). She went on to star in Baywatch and land several movie roles.
