This is not really a poem; more or less, it's a statement to tell everyone goodbye. I have been getting some bad comments, even from people that I thought were my friends, telling me to pick myself up and that life goes on...all that crap. Kinda hard to do that when you're watching the one you love in the hospital suffering, and you're in a lot of pain yourself. So I decided that this will more than likely be the last thing that I ever write here....I came here looking for people to be my friends and a friendly atmosphere where I could write....I did make a couple of friends, but as far as a friendly atmosphere, I'm sure that will never happen. Goodbye to all the people that actually like what I have to say.

I haven't even read any of your articles...yet....but you shouldn't let simple minded people push you away from what you enjoy...
Don't ever forget "We never give up hope." Those are the words posted on the wall of a mental health support group that I co-lead. And the only reason that I'm qualified to lead that group is because I myself suffer from the serious mental illness of bipolar disorder, but I know that there is life after depression. I recovered enough to acquire a college education in my mid-forties, and now I am a published, award winning Christian poet. I'm aging now, but no, I will never give up hope. Every depression episode has a begining and an end. I'm so sorry about your pain, and I don't know how long it will take you to recover, but if you give yourself a chance, recover you will. Don't give up hope.
Indeed i do hope you reconsider.
Not all of us are asses. I hope you get back here girl.:)
Often times, criticism is not well taken or given. Either way, it sometimes will cut us deep and hurt us. However, you should not let what others say or do stop you! I hope that you will have the strength to come back and write because you enjoy it. Also, there just may be someone out there that needs to hear what you have to say...you never know, it just may help them in some way!!! God Bless...Cyn
That is unbelievably wrong of any one to question your emotions. I think its sad that some one as talented as you has to leave. I hope one day you come back and see for your self how many of us truly enjoy your work. In the mean time, I wish you the best and hope that everything turns out ok for you and your loved ones.
I am so sorry to hear this. I am sorry that you have all this going on in your life. I haven't been getting messages on what you are writing. God bless you and I am sorry that there are mean people writing to you. love and prayers your friend shana
