No One

Kay K.B.
No matter how hard I try
In a contest between you and I
I'll lose for sure and forget it soon
So much better to heal my wounds

I never knew that I could be
Someone else, a person not only me
In the overall scheme of things
I like to think there's no one else quite like me

If there is, I hope to never meet that someone
Because deep down, I know I'm just no one
And if there were two or more
There might then be a Cloning War
When you can buy yourself again
For a relatively decent bargain

I grew up in West Virginia. I've worked in education, inventory, refurbishing, and news. Writing used to be part of the job, and I miss it. You can expect most of my articles to be guides and reviews.  View profile
