No Sides; We Are One, America Home of the Brave Land of the Free

For one day on September 11, 2010 let all of us remember that before we are anything at all, we are all human first. Out of respect for everyone on this day let America stand as one because only as one are we the strongest.
"Then join hand in hand, brave Americans! By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall!" (John Dickonson 1768) I firmly believe in knowing the enemy. We are fighting each other when we should be fighting the enemy and we do not help our troops by dividing over here, I want our troops to come home to the United States of America.
The war within cannot be fought with a weapon. Terrorism is fear based, and to survive and to triumph we must be united. If you rally and you fight on September 11, 2010 you will give the terrorist what they want, to divide and conquer.

Just as we watch the news and are updated so are they. They see what we see and it makes it easier for them to cause destruction when we fight each other. We should not give them that advantage. We are America. I believe fully in Freedom of speech but, I do not believe in fighting my fellow Americans. Especially on a day that should be to honor and respect those we lost and all that we are still fighting for.
Can we please save the fighting for September 12, 2010? All sides will be heard anyway because we are America and we still fight for what we believe in no matter what day it is. We are a resilient people. Those tired and poor that came here before us, though tired and poor, look what they created.

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame/ With conquering limbs astride from land to land/ Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand/ A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame/Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name/ Mother of Exiles. American's are all still healing or trying to heal from the last nine years, being divided makes America lose. We have strangers among us making us weary of each other but, how do you fight something you do not know?
The weapon that all Americans have that the enemy cannot see is within us. It is silent, strong, and resilient. Just like we cannot understand why they would cause such destruction and pain, they cannot understand the silent force of our humanity and freedom. We should be fighting with that while our troops are over there fighting with weapons for us.

Any enemies upper hand is to destroy us, as in 2001, then divide us, as in 2010. I believe in America, I believe that you can learn from history and you can change circumstances even if you think you can do nothing at all. The strength and faith are in us, not to be afraid; any action you take that is based on fear will likely put you in a bad situation. Let's not make decisions based on anger and fear. That only helps the enemy have control.
We have a strength that they cannot see nor understand, and maybe some Americans don't understand today and their future children will but, we have it. We have a legacy or else none of us would be here, someone suffered for each one of us. Maybe not directly but we are here that should be proof of America being resilient and strong. "It is never right to do wrong or to requite wrong with wrong, or when we suffer evil to defend ourselves by doing evil in return" (Socrates 469-399 BC)

People who have come before us wrote these things for a reason. That reason is absolutely your right to interpret the way you want to. Look how far Americans have come. Even with all of the controversy and hatred against each other.

However you cannot fight an enemy you cannot see, so your weapon against this atrocity should be something that they cannot see. That something is what is held within you.
United we stand, divided we fall. Let us use what is held within and unite it, we have a common goal for America and a common goal for ourselves, I believe that is all we need.

A fight takes two, when one stops fighting and the other one is still in rage the later inevitably starts fighting themselves, and it turns outward and creates chaos and spreads.
Maybe all along this was the strategy of the enemy. As I have heard many times before knowledge is power. But, power is also destructive.

United we stand divided we fall, do not let them win. They win every time a fellow American turns against each other, they win when our strength is weakened and our love has diminished. They win when we stop trusting. I do not believe in coincidences and this country has felt too much pain for it not to be deliberate even if we do not have solid proof of it. It is like treating a symptom but never the disease. Look back at our history without the hatred, fear and greed. Look at the past with strength, love and reliance and use that moving forward. We are one, there are no sides, and we are America Land of Brave, Home of the Free so please for one day let us unite instead of divide.
