When you walk into No Way Jose's you are entering a pretty typical but colorful Tex-Mex styled Cantina. The restaurant features colorful tables and many neat neon signs and is a fun environment to dine in.
No Way Jose's serves your typical Tex Mex food but is by far one of my favorites. They pride themselves on serving everything fresh and made in the restaurant. Once seated, you are greeted by your server with a basket of warm chips and cold, homemade tomato based salsa. The salsa is very mild but they do have spicier salsa if you can handle the heat. (Just ask them for it!)
If you enjoy margaritas then you must try one of the many margaritas No Way Jose's offers. Their homemade margarita mix is made from wine based tequila so it is not quite as strong as a regular margarita. They have traditional margaritas, a few specialty margaritas, as well as several other fruit flavored margaritas like strawberry, mango, peach, etc. They also have different Mexican Cervezas (beer) such as Corona, Dos Equis, and Negra Modelo just to name a few. And of course, No Way Jose's offers non alcoholic beverages including sodas and tea.
Their menu features some of the traditional favorites that you would find at any other Mexican restaurant but it also offers some dishes that are unique to No Way Jose's, such as their Queso Florentine which is flour tortillas stuffed with spinach and two types of cheeses.
By the end of the main course, I'm always too stuffed for dessert but the menu does include a few desserts, one being traditional fried ice cream as well as Mexican flan.
I have always had good service at No Way Jose's however I usually have been there at slow times of the night when they are not very busy. The manager has always been attentive walking around checking on guests while they are dining.
I give No Way Jose's 9 out of 10 jalapenos.
