Noah's Window

Shirley A Mandel
Noah sat cold in a corner of the ark;
he was tossed about by a raging sea.
Noah put his head in his hands, and cried.
He was pining to be free.

Then he lifted his eyes in the darkness
and saw an incredibly promising sight.
Through a window at the top of the ark
he saw a heavenly light.

Cold to the core of his soul and
cast into earth's night;
he looked in the eyes of his Savior God
and saw a heavenly light.

    Well, it's very good poem! Very inspiring, but there were no windows in the arc. I agree with Effi!

    yep, the depth of the sea or the height of heaven- not possible to be alone nor in the dark if God is there. Not to mention, He warms from within. Very nice Shirley.

    Very nice. I've felt in the dark before and then suddenly felt Him with me and I am ok again.
