You can walk into Nocturnal Skateshop as a kind of in between person when it comes to skill, not beginner yet not top of the line, and the staff will be just as happy to give you tips on how to improve if you want them to. They will be ready for whatever product you need be it clothing or board.

If you want a better experience I would try Exit Skateshop located in Northern Liberties. South Street has changed over the years and it seems alot of the businesses have as well (for the worse). I have been taking my 2 sons to Nocturnal for years, but after 3 of the worst customer service experiences I tried the other shop in No Libs. It was a much more welcoming environment and my boys fell in love immediately.
