How to properly dispose of your old cellphones has long been an issue. There are stations throughout each metropolitan city that are there for you to dispose of your phone. However, most people either do not know about these stations or do not care enough to recycle them anyways. This is why it was important for Nokia to create a phone that was made from recycled materials and can easily be recycled after use. Let me introduce to you Nokia's latest green phone, the Nokia EC509.

It is probably in my best interest to inform you that the Nokia EC509 is simply in the concept stages currently. The good news is that my reliable source has expressed to me that the company is moving forward with the phone and that it could hit the mobile market in a year or two. Designed by Matteo Trisolini, the Nokia EC509 wishes to make cellphones a bit greener. This will make it so that their impact on the environment is much smaller than it currently is.

Nokia was able to create the Nokia EC509 by recycling materials. Most of the materials come from recycled plastic and other cellphones. The company will take these materials and create a sleek looking phone that will appeal to different types of consumers. One cool aspect of this mobile phone is that it is able top harvest renewable kinetic energy. The energy will be used to charge a built in battery that also has the ability to store excess energy for later use.

In order to harvest the kinetic energy Nokia plans to use a simple concept. They are going to include a spin charger that will harvest the energy whenever the charger is spun. Naturally, the more you spin the spin charger the more energy that you will create at the moment. Spinning is also easy because you only need to use one finger in order to get the charger to spin around. A cool added concept to an already cool cellphone concept.

Nokia is hoping that this type of phone will push other mobile manufacturers to develop cellphones that are also recycled and green friendly. It is important for these large companies to start going green because so many other companies have begun to do it already. Nokia is taking the proper steps with the Nokia EC509. If you care about the environment you should be one of this first people in line to purchase this awesome phone.
