Nokia N97 Cell Phone Review: Why You Shouldn't Waste Your Time with This One

Jack Woods
I have always looked for the best technology when it comes to cell phones and iPhones, thus that is why I thought I had chosen the best with this new Nokia N97 Cell Phone.

The Nokia N97 Cell phone has a touch screen, a sliding keyboard, plus it gives you a very good connectivity. I have always liked Nokia, and maybe that is why I was so sure of myself on choosing this one.

But for what the Nokia N97 Cell phone boasts on looks, like the platinum shine and a slick body, only the seem to be there for the looks. You begin to see the actual results of the Nokia N97 Cell phone, when you start working with it and start getting frustrated with some of the features that either take up too much space on the screen, or that are not functioning properly, or prove amazingly slow. Just to give you a very brief example of the different hurdles that you have to go through to make the phone work. The screen buttons on the left of the screen are only for setting up the desktop, however, because of its size, and space, it is very easy to automatically press them when you are in the process of making a phone call. Now you are faced with a system being set up instead, and have to quit or save whatever you are doing on your phone. I have never had these kinds of problems with my iPhone.

I did not have much luck with the video functions either. For such a nice big screen, the quality and resolution were very poor. Not the kind that I am accustomed to. The Nokia N97 Cell phone also has a capacity for FM transmission, but that function did not work in my Nokia N97 Cell phone at all, right from the beginning.

I was having a lot of trouble booting the Nokia N97 Cell Phone, and as I mentioned before, there were many features that were not working properly, so I decided that this was not the phone for me. I don't mind the price when it comes to good technology, however, the Nokia N97 Cell phone definitely needs a review by Nokia itself. I don't think that you should be marketing these Nokia N97 Cell Phones, claiming that they are better than other phones.

All in all, I would not recommend the Nokia N97 cell phone. Definitely not my kind of a cell phone.
