The American Country Awards is a new awards show that takes giving out awards a bit further. The American Country Awards (ACA's) is basically an extended award show digging into categories that the other major award shows do not cover, in addition to all the regular awards.
This year's ACA's will take place on Monday, December 5, 2011 and will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on the Fox network at 7:00 pm Central Standard Time.
Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth will host the two hour award show that gives awards based entirely on the fans votes. Jason Aldean and the Zac Brown Band lead the nominations with eight each, followed by Thompson Square with seven nominations and Taylor Swift and The Band Perry with six nominations each.
Performers and presenters for the award show will be announced soon. The show will be great shooting live from Las Vegas, as we know the party atmosphere will be contagious.
