Nominees for the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

It's that time of year again when all of television's finest await anxiously to hear their names as nominees for an Emmy award. On July 17, Neil Patrick Harris of How I Met Your Mother and Kristin Chenoweth of Pushing Daisies joined John Shaffner, Chairman and CEO of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to announce the 60^th Primetime Emmy nominations, which will air on September 21^st on ABC.

With 23 nominations, HBO's miniseries John Adams leads the contenders followed by 17 nominations for NBC's 30 Rock, 16 nominations for AMC's Mad Men and 12 nominations for ABC's Pushing Daisies.
