Non-boring Non-alcoholic

Imagine you are at an exciting New Year's Party and you have, for several reasons, decided not to drink. You could be the designated driver, you could be abstaining from alcohol for personal reasons, or you could be pregnant. If you are the host at such a party, it is best to think of these guests and to offer them a drink that adds just as much excitement and sophistication as that new martini recipe. Here are 3 such non-alcoholic recipes.

Blueberry Ginger Dream

6 oz club soda

1 oz gingerbread syrup (found in italian coffee flavor section of grocery store)

1 tbsp heavy cream

6 blueberries, rinsed

1. In a tall glass with cubed iced, pour syrup, then club soda. Stir.

2. Add cream and stir immediately before serving. Add blueberries

Frozen Berry Faux-Rita

Add all ingredients in a blender and pour into margarita glasses

Hazelnut Sprizter
