Non-gendered

Deana Marshall (Baconator)
Not a female and definitely not a male,

non-gendered one would say.

Take to the ball game or out to dinner when alone..

looked at as a buddy,

not female and definitely not male.

Can paint it up,

do the make up and hair..

still non-gendered..

just a buddy..

never looked at differently.

Can apply the smelly,

make sure legs are smooth..

but the movie date is no date

but two buddies doing a review.

Could bare the flesh,

lay it out on the line..

still non-gendered..

just a buddy..

never looked at differently.

Hitting on the friends,

trying to get the hook up..

breaking the heart..

remaining silent..

unknowing how to make a change.

Tears have no effect,

words get lost in the exchange.

Shouting out on roof tops,

it remains the same..

still non-gendered..

just a buddy..

never looked at differently.

Lost in the mix,

alone in the pain.

Written about a female friend of mine who is tired of being looked at like just one of the guys.
