Non-Profit Organization Angels in Waiting Extends Offer to Nadya Suleman
Suleman Reportedly Considering $1.24 Million Home
Allred announced that she had recently filed a complaint with the Department of Children and Family Services, asking for an investigation to determine whether or not Suleman's children would be endangered if they stayed with her. Beyond all the frustration of the American Public, one primary concern has been for the welfare of Suleman's 14 children, since no one believes she will be able to handle their emotional and medical care.
Allred stated that she was contacted by Angels In Waiting, who told her that they had emailed Nadya Suleman, offering their services to her children and octuplets once they are released from the hospital.
With their highly qualified nursing staff, the nonprofit organization strives to meet the needs of medically fragile infants and children. In an interview with Fox Phoenix, Allred said that the organization would be willing to offer trained pediatric nurses with specialized knowledge in caring for premature infants, occupational therapists, psychiatrists and educational specialists.
The money to pay for all of this would come from donations to the organization. The taxpayers would not be charged. Even better is the fact that any money that is donated to Angels In Waiting will go directly to the care of the infants and children. Nadya Suleman wouldn't receive a penny.
However, registered Nurse Linda West-Conforti, the founder of Angels In Waiting, told ABC Los Angeles that is taking care of the children, would involve 12 providers a day, at a cost of $135,000 a month. She is unsure if they could raise that much money before the infants left the hospital.
Allred says that the only alternative would be that the children would be taken away and placed in foster care so that their special needs can be met. So far, Suleman has not responded to the offer, but if she wants to, she'll need to act fast.
Allred stated that the offer is only on the table until February 26th, due to the fact that the organization needs enough time to make plans to take care of the children.
It seems like the best idea that's been presented thus far, but it seems that Suleman is more focused on other things. According to TMZ.com, Suleman has been looking at a four bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home running for 1.24 million dollars. The elaborate home, filled with marble floors, ceramic tiled stairways and an open, outdoor pool seems like the last thing Suleman should be looking into.
Allred said in her press conference,
"Nadya does not appear to have a concrete plan for the future to meet the urgent and complicated needs of these medically fragile and premature infants."
I would have to agree.

Post a CommentThis woman deserves nothing. No free rides. she has no visible means to support these kids. CA needs to step in and take these kids and give them to homes that will be able to provide for them. Why should she get welfare and free child care? Who is paying for the Kaiser bill? All of us Kaiser members? The doctor needs to be held accountable and this woman needs to be held in an asylum for the mentally insane. She can't possible love and care for all of these children.
There are thousands of people who lost thier jobs and they need help, why not support them as they acually paid taxes. This woman is a nut job
There are so many worthy organizations that need Angels in Waiting help but you choose to help a woman like this. I will never give you any contributions. this woman is a nut job and you are helping her. What do you want, more publicity for your organization? Give a real organization help stop with this woman who has no morals.
what about the other single mothers out there who have more than six kids are you going to help them or put them in a nice home and have around the clock care for there disable kids?
because there are alot of idiots out there that will support her. Why? Don't ask me. Angels - look at Children's Hospital, and all the wonderful organizations out there that actually do good for many people that deserve it.
Nadya needs to get a clue. But not any more than the people out there that support her. I work very hard, and very long hours and I live in a townhouse. I would like to get someone to paint my living room, but can't afford it. My 401k is losing money by the minute. And I still have to eat. We're being screwed on gas prices.
Wake up Nadya supporters!!
Just wondering how you buy a house for more than one million dollars when you're not working. I don't work either, I am broke but I want a fancy house anyway.
think shes nuts to have so many children in the first place. From haveing 4 of my own one at a time that is.She's not going to beable to handle that many.Even with help. She says she wanted alot of babies because she was a only child.Well I was too ,but that didn't make me wanting a lot of children. In my opion if she wanted a lot of kids why didn't she get a job as a teacher, day care person, nurse,or do some kind of work were she would be around alot of kids. And that doctor who gave her so many embryos should be the one who pays the bills for the babies. What did he think when he was doing this .That he would become famous. There both nuts. And he souldnt be aloud to be a doctor any more.So he cant do the same thing again. And she should be fixed so she cant have any more babies.
does anyone know you paid the doctor? they should be held responsible for the caring of these children. I really feel sorry for these kids being raised by this person. I just hope that they find good homes, with good people that can care for them in the way all children deserve to be cared for. Anonymously and lovingly.
I agree about the doctor, he should have to pay for the care of the babies, now and in the future. What do people think, the doctor is the one whom placed the embryos not the mother. Hyprocites seem to forget this !!!!
My son was very premature. It took everything we could muster financially, physically, emotionally and mentally to make it through those first two years. This is not a joke. These babies die. Stop sensationalizing and giving her tv time! Our bill was $250,000 18 years ago. I came back to work in 1 week to save my maternity leave. Who will pay her bill? Where does she work?
What about the doctor that allowed this? He should be held accountable as well.
