Nonprofit Support: Help Save the Earth with Your Clicks

BC Doan
If you want to help all these web sites or maybe just a few a days, then there is one thing to do: "click them." You do not have to spend a penny, but your contributions mean so much to the world around us. These web sites are all organizations with good causes. Just one click a day and your help for these non-profit associations can feed the hungers, clothed the naked, save lives, and preserve our own earth.

Below are the web sites that I support. They are randomly selected. Each one of them has their own uniqueness. If you can find more, add them to your to do list. We should all try our best in support them. What is best about it: they cost you nothing!

The Rain Forest Site---http://www.therainforestsite.com/clickToGive

Your daily click helps the purchase of rain forest land all over the world, since it is the most an ancient and complex ecosystem.

The Breast Cancer Site---http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/clickToGive

You are contributing with your click to give free mammogram. There are many people who have no health insurance or in need of help to get mammogram exams.

The Hunger Site---http://www.thehungersite.com/clickToGive

Give food with your daily click. Three-fourths of the deaths people are children under the age of five. Can you image that?

The Child Health Site---http://www.thechildhealthsite.com/clickToGive

This site promotes health awareness as well as prevention, and treatment to every day childhood illness.

The Literacy Site---http://www.theliteracysite.com/clickToGive

Your click donates books to children in need around the world. This site is updated every 10 minutes to let you see that your clicks are so important in supporting literacy.

The Animal Rescue Site---http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive

Your click will give free food and care to animals. There are more than 27 million unwanted animals living in the shelters, and 10 million of them will be put to death every year.

The web sites listed below are very useful and educational sites that can help us protecting the earth. We should do what we can to preserve a good environment for our children, and grandchildren's future.

Earth911.org

If you want to donate items such as glasses, ink, or battery, just enter your zip code to find the location where you can drop off those things. This site also offers information for real time air pollution, as well as where to compost and dispose of household waste in your area.

Greendimes.com

Every year millions of trees are cut down and become unwanted postal mail. Get off junk mailing lists, and have a tree planted in your honor, for $4 a month.

Care2.com

Connect with more than 6 million people who want to make a difference and protect the environment. Sign eco-friendly petitions and learn about volunteer opportunities.

TheWorldWomenWant.com

Get empowered by learning what to look for when choosing "green" products, including appliances, cosmetics, clothing, and gardening tools.

There are so many good things we can do with just our clicks. Support these web sites. Some won't even cost you a penny, but you are doing good deeds for many excellent causes. Shop their sites if you want to further support them. Check them out and I am sure you will see they are worth your daily clicks.
