Ants:

If you have ants you can spray them with soapy water to get rid of them. Ants won't cross over cucumber slices or cucumber peels. Ants also won't go near mint tea. Sprinkle the contents of the tea bag over the area where you have seen ants to keep them from that area.

Roaches:

Roaches won't go near catnip. Place catnip in places that you have seen roaches. If you have to get the catnip into small cracks and crevices, you can mix the catnip with water, and boil like you would a tea bag, then place it in a spray bottle and spray it. If you have cats in the home, you may not want to use this method. You can also kill roaches by spraying them with soapy water. You can use boric acid if you have a place that pets or children will never be able to reach, this can be toxic if ingested. There are also non toxic traps that you can purchase in the stores that will be safe for your family and pets that will trap and kill roaches.

Fleas:

To kill fleas on your pet after bathing your dog, make the final rinse of water and lemon juice on your dog to kill the fleas. The fleas don't like citrus and will stay away from the dog. You can also use this mixture on your carpet, spraying the carpet that fleas have infested. Spray lightly over the carpet and let dry.
