I teetered between the Penna Rosa, a Mediterranean option, and the Bangkok Curry, an Asian option, finally deciding on the latter. I am, without a blink of hesitation, rating my entree a perfect 10. The slightly sweet coconut flavored curry smothered over the light and moist rice noodles was beyond tasty. Broccoli, carrot, red pepper, onion, cabbage, and mushroom colored up the dish, added more zesty spice, and offered just the right slight crunchy texture to enliven the dish further. I asked to add shrimp as well and was quite pleased with the fresh taste ( these were definitely NOT lower grade of a frozen variety ) and the chef decorated the finished product very generously with perfectly plump, juicy shrimp.
Other options on the Noodles menu that I cannot wait to try are Thai Curry Soup, Pesto Cavatappi, Mushroom Stroganoff, and the Penna Rosa.
The atmosphere is pleasant for a meeting of new acquaintances ( I met up with a fellow groups of magazine writers ), friends and family, and seems perfectly suitable for first dates. The menu is just large enough to offer a wide selection for even the pickiest diner but not so overwhelming that one would spend more time viewing than indulging on the cuisine. The chef came out to our table to inquire how we enjoyed our meals to which everyone offered a unanimous positive expression through words or noises of delight through bites and noodles twisted on forks. It was incredibly difficult to put leave a bite on the plates.
The price range is reasonable ( under $8 for the largest bowl ) and dining in and take out are both available.
